OVERVIEW.
Objective: Variations of poster designs.
Poster 1: I chose the western band “Treaty Oak Revival” because it’s one of my favorites. For the design, I picked a natural color palette of greens and browns to evoke an outdoorsy vibe, reflecting the fact that country folks often work outside. I added a flowing banner around the main illustration to introduce some movement into the design. To add texture, I experimented with different brush styles in Illustrator. I used cowboy boots as the central visual to capture the essence of country style.
